Hiya gang! I 'm having problem posting pictures to my blogs on the other site, so I decided to use this one for our blogger get together. Hawaii Blogger Coalition is the title that Becky at April Fools gave us. It was such a great day meeting everyone for the first time. With all us bloggers from the Paradise In The Pacific it turned out to be a blast! Especially for the Jr. blog team of Dakota, Missy and the baby of them all...Kamalani. I don't think us adults existed except when it was time for them to eat. The sun and surf outweighed our adult authority! :)
We had enough food to feed everyone who was there! Us Hawaii people live to eat! :P It was a pot luck deal, so we had everything but the kitchen sink! (But we did have a water faucet near by) :)

And here is Jr. blogger Kamalani with the penguini and her opihi Iki. Notice the penguinis loving the sun and surf. Who said they only like the cold! :)
Being it was Missy's birthday we also had a little celebration with some birthday cake and gifts.
Is this little ole me with the penguini's?
I will be posting more later when I get my pictures developed. I'm still in the ice age of using a camera that needs it's picture developed. Next mission? A damn digital thingamajig! And of course I will need someone to show me how to use it ...NOT!
My wonderful family and I stayed there at Nimitz Beach till 6:30 p.m., so we got to see the Honus again. When the tide got high, they came in to feed on the seaweed that are so abundant on the rocks close to shore. It's getting to be a weekly thing of us watching these beautiful sea creatures rolling in the surf. It was a whole family of 4, with a baby one following the bigger ones back and forth with the tide.
I want to thank DB, BTude, and Becky for the wonderful time we had and there will be more of these blogger get togethers. And as soon as we can get all you Mainlanders over here, we can really have a big Whoop De Doo! I know I'll be seeing my daughter Wench and Mr. Wench sometime in the early part of 2006.
